Taite's First Birthday
Our baby girl turned one...I can't believe how fast this past year has flown by. Taite took her first steps, is eating big girl food and is developing quite the personality. She reminds me of London a bit as a baby...she is into EVERYTHING. There is not a cupboard (with baby locks on it mind you) that she cannot open. Her favorite pastimes include eating toilet paper and shoving entire rolls of it in the toilet, spreading my bathroom floor with all my toiletries including my makeup, eating the dirt out of our garden and pulling all the dishes out of every drawer and cupboard. She is so fast too! But she is also the sweetest thing you ever saw and such a momma & daddy's girl. Here are some photos of her first birthday...which, by the way, was celebrated at our house with just our immediate family (there were 38 people there and some were even missing...it was kinda crazy but fun!).
It's not a party without atleast one wierd pic of Glen.

Then she decided it would be fun to attack me with her cupcake hands.
She didn't like all the singing I guess.

Black Rock 2009
Good friends...good times....good food....I mean really good food! Our camping trip consisted of 6 adults, 6 kids, 2 motor homes, 2 quads, 2 motorcycles, one pilot, one rhino and one rocket. We endured snow, wind, rain, a broken hand, a broken rhino and throw up on the ride home but it was all worth it.
The setup.
It's all about the rocket Jared built.

This was pretty much what happened all weekend...Jaxon chauffering London everywhere...it was so cute!

Christmas 2009
Christmas just keeps getting better and better with each passing year. First off, the holidays are so much fun with kids. And as the kids are getting older they are beginning to understand the true meaning of Christmas...it's fun to give gifts to each other but remembering the gift of our Savior is the most important. I think one of the best parts for London and Sutton was going to the store to help pick out a present for the families helping families program. On Christmas morning, London exclaims "Mom & Dad, the little boy got his gift today and I think he is so happy." It was nice to see that she wasn't so wrapped up in her own Christmas morning gifts that she forgot about others. We also watched the Nativity story which they always love and we talked about Jesus' birth and why we give each other gifts at Christmas.

Apple Hill
This year we were able to visit Apple Hill with lots of cousins, aunts, uncles and grandparents. Everyone was together except Tyler...we miss you so much!!! The kids had a lot of fun together running around the pond, harrassing the ducks and running up and down the dirt hills (I remember loving that as a kid and my parents used to get so mad cuz we were filthy when we were done...yep, my kids were filthy and I was just like my parents shouting at them to stop running up and down the dirt hills).
Look at that boody.

Matthew vs London's tooth
The tooth fairy dropped a $5 bill under London's Pillow along with new shades...lucky girl! I'm pretty sure the t-fairy scrounged up loose change under my parents couch for me when I lost my first tooth.... MBN
